The hotel is about 10-12 minutes walking distance from port which we preferred as it was nice and quiet. The hotel was great. It was spacious, clean and a wonderful view of the beach and harbour. The breakfast was wonderful with a good selection. I loved the fresh orange juice and yogurt with fruit salad was incredible With honey. There was a hot selection as well including cereal, cakes, toast etc. Chrysoula the manager went above and beyond providing information. Picking us up from the port and a kind and loving person. The staff that cleaned our room and Katerina that cooked the breakfast were great.
This was an amazing stay. From the personal pick-up from the ferry port, the advice on things we could do, the very friendly welcome by all staff at all times, to the excellent breakfast and spotlessly clean and fresh rooms, we really could not fault a thing. We’re hopping from island to island but wished we’d been able to stay longer than 3 nights. Truly fantastic.
The staff were so friendly and helpful from picking us up when the ferry arrived to going through things to do on the island. The breakfast was excellent and the rooftop bar with payment using an honesty box was a great way to end each day watching the sunset before heading out to dinner or for a night cap.
The room was very clean and well appointed, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was lovely. The view from the breakfast terrace was gorgeous.
Rich and abundant breakfast, welcoming and smiling staff, always ready to satisfy every need. They offered us a ride from the port to the property and for us they arranged a rental car to visit the island in freedom. The view from the room is amazing and also from the breakfast terrace. Very comfortable bed! There is a well-stocked common bar area that shines through on Kamares. You can not ask for anything better! We were so sorry we had to leave, it would be great one day to visit ALK Hotel again!
The hotel manager was very helpful in making our stay easier. Last minute booking of a car in high season. Other bookings made for us in various establishments. Instructions on sites to visit...in short she knows her job and her island of Sifnos.
The location, very close to the beautiful Kamares beach, the port, restaurants. Breakfast, fresh orange juice, which is rather rare in hotels. The attentive welcome, the care of the customers, availability, we came to pick us up on the arrival of the ferry, we had lots of information about Sifnos.
The staff is very kind and helpful. we were given the room earlier than expected time, they came to pick us up at the port when we arrived and brought us back when we returned. Breakfast is plentiful, varied and served on a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea. 24 hour bar service available.
Everything is perfect. The lovely welcome of Chryssoula, the little touches, the advice and her perfect knowledge of the island contribute to an extraordinary stay. Quiet, the hotel is very well located, the breakfasts are amazing and the rooms perfect for a successful stay.
Hostess so friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and remembered one of us needed to be gluten free. Lovely terrace and ‘honesty bar’. Picked us up from ferry and dropped us off. All excellent . Slept really well. Excellent recommendation for where to go for our evening meal.
